Sponsor Night Info

Sponsor night is an informal mixer for course participants and instructors to meet sponsors. Each sponsor is provided a table for displaying literature, doing demos, and showing off their fantastic products. Tables are set up in the Atrium and adjoining spaces, and open from 7-9pm. Wine, beer, soft drinks and delicious munchies will be served.

Sponsors are welcome to do demos at their tables using laptops or small instruments that only require power. This is a great space for doing demos and interacting with participants.

For those sponsors with instruments in labs at the course, you can demo those instruments during two 30-minute demo periods. Some labs have more than one instrument, so there may be more than one sponsor doing a demo in the same lab at the same time. Our sponsors do a great job of embracing the collegial nature of the course, and that spirit is what makes the overlapping lab demos work.

The first demo is from 7:30-8:00pm. The second demo is from 8:15-8:45pm. We'll make announcements in the Atrium prior to each demo session. Meet participants at your table 5 minutes prior to the start of the demo period so that you can escort them to the lab where the demo will be performed.
