DNA Modeling Questions to ask...
- Execute TestDNA program.
- Fill in the appropriate fields for the constant DNA histogram
features.

- Select Preview to see the synthesized histogram.
- Enter the desired pathway for the synthesized data in the
Path field.
- To edit the variable fields, select the Edit menu and choose
Edit Batch...

- Enter the number of histograms to synthesize. Usually 100
works well.
- Edit the Low and High fields for the model variable that will
be varied.
- Choose OK.

- Make sure all is well with the constant variables.
- Select the Edit menu and choose Run Batch.
- Watch it go...

- Execute ModFit LT.
- Select the File ICON.
- Select any or all of the generated files you wish
to analyze.
- Click on OK.
- Under the Edit menu select Auto Analysis
settings.
- Choose the appropriate setting for Debris and Aggregates.
- Click on the Auto icon to perform the first analysis
(The results will not yet be databased).
- Under the Edit menu select Databases...
- In the Edit All Databases dialog box click on the first
database entry and click on the copy button.

- Click on the new database name and rename it ( e.g. CV Study).
- With the new database selected, click on the Edit
button

- Add or delete fields from the Keyword-Database
Map
- Click on OK.

- With the new database selected, click on the
Properties button.

- Activate the database and viewer. Deactivate Prompting.
- If you wish you may change the location where the
database will be stored by clicking on the Path button.
- Click on OK.
- Click on the Edit Batch File button.

- Setup how you wish the program to precede through auto analysis.

- Click OK to close this dialog.
- Click on the Redo button to reanalyze the first file
and database the results.
- Click on the Auto-advance button.
- All the selected files will be analyzed and databased.

- Execute Excel.
- Select Open ICON, navigate to where the database resides.
- Select Files of type "Text files."
- Choose OK.
- Accept the Excel defaults for reading in a delimited text
database file.
- In the first row of the next open column, type the
appropriate formula (e.g. abs(B2-C2) ).
- Extend the formula to all data rows.
- Multiple select the two columns to graph.
- Select the Chart Wizard ICON.
- Use the XY Scatter plot without lines.
- Enter title, x and y labels.
- Click on Finish.
