This dialog allows you to control the properties of the WinList logging function. Logging can be used to create a list of actions that you performed using the program, and can assist Technical Support in trouble-shooting problems. Normally, this option should be disabled.
Active
Check this option to enable the logging function. WinList will create a file named WListLog.txt in the WinList 3D folder under the user's documents. The file will store operations you perform as you work with the program.
Logging Level
Choose between Basic and Debugging. Debugging level includes all the Basic information plus additional logging to help trouble-shoot problems.
Size limit
Select the size limit for the logging file.
Full Error Report
Enable this option to create a more detailed error report for VSH technical support. The error report will also be larger on disk.
Use Custom Path
Enable this option to specify the location where you want log files to be stored.
Custom Log Path
When Use Custom Path is enabled, this property specifies the location of the log files.
Clear
Click this button to clean out the log file.
